Logger Feed (IL)
The Info Bar display for the Logger Feed shows live and accumulative information about the QSOs received from your amateur radio logging software via a UDP or TCP link. It lets you access far more details than are otherwise available from a map, or even from your logger.
It begins by providing a current QSO count (to a maximum of 3000), then a Band or Mode count, with the band frequencies, modes, and colors identified.
If you are using the TCP Interface (for the N3FJP Logger series), then you will see lines for:
Client Status - this lets you know how the 'Time Mapper UHD' is connecting to the N3FJP Logger.
API Version - this lets you know the API Version of the N3FJP Logger - must be equal or above v0.8 to work correctly.
Below that will be the current Intensity Decay settings, as configured in the 'Settings Menu > Logger Feed' tab-page.
After that, a number of sub-pages will cycle automatically to show the following:
List of Total Countries, with Flag, Prefix, and Country Name.
List of Countries by Band, by Prefix.
List of Countries by Band, by Flag.
List of Countries by Mode, by Prefix.
List of Countries by Mode, by Flag.
List of Total Grid Squares.
List of Grid Squares by Band.
List of Grid Squares by Mode.
List of most recent 10 QSOs with Call, DateTime, Band, Mode, Short Path Bearing, Distance; List of Total Countries.
Most recent QSO Received, with detailed location, country and current time and solar details.
Clicking on any of those Country Flags, Prefixes, or Country Names will open a Pop-Out that will give lots of information about the country:
Total Country Count.
Country Name.
Primary Prefix of the country.
Continent that the country is located in.
IARU Region that the country is located in.
ITU Zone(s) for the country.
CQ Zone(s) for the country.
Capital City for the country.
Number of QSOs in the log for that country.
In addition, a list of all the Callsigns in the log for that country will be shown in a vertical column to the right of the Pop-Out. Clicking on any of those will show the log-entry details below.
Clicking on a Grid Square will show further information about the square:
Total Grid Locators.
Grid Locator Designator.
Grid Locator Bounding Box.
Distance from the User Position to the center of the Grid Locator.
QSO Count for that Grid Locator.
In addition, a list of all the Callsigns in the log for that Grid Square will be shown in a vertical column to the right of the Pop-Out. Clicking on any of those will show the log-entry details below.
When many of the above options are clicked on, you will also see a small map that is centered on the Country or Callsign. To change the map center or map projection, or learn about how sub-page scrolling is paused when a Pop-Out is opened, see the notes on the 'Pop-Out' help-page.
