Log Context Menus

The following commands are available in the Context Menu when right-clicking a row in the Main or Auxiliary Logs:

Show Callsign on Map

This command will place a marker for the received QSO, as long as the QSO has a position associated with it.

Copy Line to Clipboard

This command will copy the QSO to the system Clipboard, so that you can use the data elsewhere. Here is an example of what you might get:

"2019-07-24","1145","WX4L ","40m","SSB","","","","","EM86ca","TN","Knox","36.0187","-83.7958","98","818.79","N","GridLoc"

Edit Line

This command opens the 'Edit Log Line' window, where you can alter any column in the log in a controlled and error-free environment.

Necessary instructions are shown on the 'Edit Log Line' window itself.

Delete Line

This command will delete the one log-line that has been clicked on, even if more than one line is already selected. A confirmation box is shown that asks for confirmation of the action.

Delete All Selected

This command will delete all of the currently selected log-lines, including the one that has been clicked on. A confirmation box is shown that asks for confirmation of the action.

You can select multiple lines by first clicking one line, and then either:

(a) holding the 'Shift' key down whilst clicking on a second line. All lines between and including the first and second lines will be selected.

(b) holding the 'Ctrl' key down whilst clicking one or more additional lines. The lines do not have to be adjacent to each other. All clicked lines will be selected.

Merge Selected with Main

This command is only available in the Auxiliary Log. It will add all of the currently selected log-lines, including the one that has been clicked on to the Main Log.

Plot County Outline on Map

If the log-line that was clicked on contains a County, this command will plot an outline of that county on the Overlay Map and the Online Map.

Add GridLoc from LatLon

If the log-line that was clicked on contains a valid Latitude and Longitude value, but does not contain a Grid Locator value, this command will calculate the Grid Locator that contains the Latitude and Longitude values, and add it to the Grid Loc column in the log. You should note that if the Latitude and Longitude value were not confirmed by the operator at the time of the QSO, then the resultant Grid Locator value may not be correct.

Add State/County from LatLon

If the log-line that was clicked on contains a valid Latitude and Longitude value, but does not contain a County value, this command will find the State and County that contains the Latitude and Longitude values, and add them to the State and County columns in the log. You should note that if the Latitude and Longitude value were not confirmed by the operator at the time of the QSO, then the resultant State and County values may not be correct.

Reset to Show All QSOs

When a subset of the Log has been chosen, for instance by selecting a plot of QSOs for a specific band, the Log Table will also add a filter to only show the QSOs that correspond to that selection. To reset the Log to show all QSOs, click the 'Reset to Show All QSOs' command. This command does not change the Markers plotted on the maps, though.
