Great Circle Map
The Great Circle Map can be used as a quick reference when planning antenna layouts or using a rotatable yagi beam or quad. Moving your mouse over the map will show the position and Grid Locator where the mouse is, and the distance, current short path or long path direction from the center of the map. You can change the map center to either your Home Location, or a Custom Location. You can add Latitude and Longitude Circles, and Radial Lines from the center. Click the Color box to change the color, or the Spacing box to change the spacing.
In addition, you can add a GrayLine overlay, configured for current or specified date and time, and the Sun position. The GrayLine overlay uses a solid color of your choosing. To change the solid color, click the colored box next to the word 'Color'. A separate color is saved for each of the 16 map-backgrounds. To set the transparency of the Terminator, and the width of its leading edge, use the boxes provided. Use the 'Refresh' button to refresh the map after the settings have been changed.
The Great Circle Map can use any of the 16 available background images. To change the background image, click the 'Background Map' control.
The Great Circle Map does not have a right-click Context Menu for markers or polygons.
You can zoom the Great Circle Map in or out with the vertical scroll bar, on the right of the tab-page.
